how does this work?
This is a fan week! It's kind of like a fest, but there are no sign ups, check-ins, or commitment.
There will be a set theme for each day of the week, and participants will post content relevant to that prompt—whether a ficlet, sketch, moodboard, whatever. If you want to participate, all you have to do is post your work to the tag or the AO3 collection on the relevant day.
Again, this is a zero commitment event! If you want to post for just one day because that particular prompt inspired you, go for it! If you only have time to do one or two sketches because you've been busy, that's fine! You can pick and choose what to post for, or challenge yourself to do something for every day of the week. It's up to you.
We know that there are lots of fests, and many of us have our plates full. We're just here to have some fun and celebrate markhyuck together!
how does the prompting work?
We have pre-set 2-word prompts for each day of the week. These are general ideas, vague enough to allow us all to work from the same prompt and go in lots of creative directions. You don’t have to use both words, either—if only one of them gives you an idea, go for it!
This may lead to some works being somewhat similar, and that’s okay! It’s fun to see everyone’s own interpretation of the prompt.
what can i submit?
Anything you've made! Whatever fan content you like to make, if it's markhyuck, post it! Fics, art, video or photo edits, moodboards, gifs, playlists, manips, etc.
Most importantly, it should be something you yourself have made. Please do not repost someone else's fic/art/edits!
how do i submit?
Wait until the day that corresponds to the relevant prompt, and then post your work on twitter with the hashtag #MarkhyuckWeek2021, or on AO3 into the MH Week 2021 Collection! That's it!
are there any rules?
Please only post your own work - do not repost anyone else's work without permission. Please appropriately tag anything nsfw, and use proper tagging on AO3.
